Despite Setbacks & Complications, Mosie Mamas Persevere

My wife and I embarked on our fertility journey in February 2019 after deciding the time was right to start our family. After careful consideration due to PCOS/endometriosis, we booked a fertility clinic appointment. Our first appointment was a negative experience so we decided to do our research and try AI (Artificial Insemination) at home. We did hours of research, paid to join a sperm donation website and found a compatible donor. We ordered our Mosie Kit after reading positive reviews online and within the LGBTIQ+ Parenthood forums and began to try to conceive in December 2019. Our first try was unsuccessful, we tried again early January 2020 and to our surprise got a positive pregnancy test on the 19th of January. Our pregnancy was tough being diagnosed with Velamentous Cord Insertion at 20 weeks making our birth high risk, but our stubborn boy was breach and was born via C-Section at 38+4 weeks on 22/09/2020 at a healthy 6 lbs 6oz. We are now proud parents to “O” and have recently purchased our second Mosie Kit to try and give our baby boy a sibling later this year and to complete our little family.
