Baby Number Two En Route Using Same Donor Sperm with Help from Mosie

We are so excited to tell you that Mosie Baby helped my wife and I get pregnant with our second child! I am so glad we found your product before trying again. We only had a few chances to get pregnant using the same donor sperm (we only had a few vials left in storage at the cryobank), so now our kids will be full siblings biologically. We searched forever with our first child to find a product like this and there just wasn't anything made specifically for our needs. Then we found Mosie Baby.

I would be open to sharing more about our journey. I know how hard it was feeling like we were going through it all alone, we really didn't know too many lesbian couples who had conceived a baby at home the way we were hoping to. And there just wasn't much research out there. Even the cryobank we used wasn't helpful beyond just helping us find our donor. At home insemination just wasn't really discussed much, at least that we could find. And there certainly weren't any products at our disposal beyond the generic oral syringe. 

Finding Mosie Baby gave us more hope and definitely made us feel more comfortable about the entire process. We were VERY blessed to have been able to conceive two children at home. I know so many couples go through so much to try and get pregnant. I am thankful every single day that we were able to. 

Once we were ready to start trying, we searched for the most reputable cryobanks in the U.S. and ended up settling on California Cryobank. I had started tracking my cycles and preparing my body to get pregnant. We searched for several months until we found our donor. Our goal was to find someone who had similar traits, characteristics and interests as my wife, Stephanie, since I would be the one carrying and our baby would already have some of my traits. We didn't really pick our donor based solely on looks or pick the smartest astrophysicist in the bunch, we just wanted to find someone with a great personality, and someone we would love to hang out with. 

After we picked our donor and spent a fortune on buying vials, we started trying for our first in January of 2017. We knew all along that we wanted to first try at-home insemination so it would be more intimate and relaxed. It scared me because I didn't trust us at all to know what to do and, like I said, there just wasn't much information out there. We completely failed on our first attempt, and so much went wrong those swimmers never had a chance. Wrong size syringe, wrong technique, just wrong. After we learned from our mistakes, we tried a second time and were so shocked to see a positive pregnancy test on Valentines Day of 2017. 

Our baby girl, “E”, was born on October 25, 2017, and was the most amazing gift we could have ever imagined (she still is). We knew that we wanted to have another child and to give “E” a sibling, and we also wanted them to be fairly close in age. We only had five chances (vials) left to get pregnant and have our kids have the same donor, so we wanted to make sure each attempt counted. After a negative result following our first try in February of 2019, we decided to do some more research.That's when we found Mosie Baby. Finally a product made for us. We decided it was worth a shot and ordered our Mosie package. On my next cycle, we used our Mosie syringe and the entire process just felt so much more natural. In March, we were overjoyed to get a positive pregnancy test! We couldn't believe it. 

I am now 14 weeks pregnant and our second child is due November 24, 2019. We couldn't be more thankful to Mosie Baby for being a part of our journey to grow our family.
