Not Wanting to Settle or Wait...She Found a Donor and Mosie!

I should preface it by saying I had older parents (39 and 51 when I was born), they were amazing and I was their “miracle” baby, but they were older nonetheless. And when I was 20, my dad passed away somewhat suddenly from melanoma. 

Fast forward about 5 years to last November and I was complaining about life to my best friend when she gave me the idea of finding a donor. I wasn’t in a relationship and didn’t want to feel like I had to settle. Nor did I want to wait until I was older...I’m a caregiver now for my mom, and needless to say my life is not like most 25-year-olds. It’s the curse of having older parents. So I started to look into it and started looking for a donor while tracking my cycle. I ended up trying 3 months, using Mosie for the 2nd and 3rd attempts. I was totally psyching myself out that it didn’t work, but one morning at 10dpo there was the FAINTEST second line. I am now nearly 13 weeks pregnant and just found out I’m having a little girl and couldn’t be happier. I’m so glad I took this leap and that I found a product that not only made it easy but was comfortable!
