I received my package and am very excited to use Mosie as it gives me hope and a small light at the end of the 12 year tunnel.
I have been facing severe vaginismus, thinking I was the only person in the world with this condition. It’s an embarrassing condition, and it took me a long time to figure out what I had actually was vaginismus. I could never talk to anyone about this. It’s a sad secret I’ve kept for many years. I finally mustered up the courage to talk to a doctor about this, and she recommended I try the Amielle Vaginal Dilators. This was very daunting for me. Thankfully my husband has been very supportive and caring and really wants a family.
I read so many blogs, and it is so prevalent especially in overly traditional and religious communities where perhaps sex is a taboo word. In my instance I’d never had a real close relationship with my mother to help me through any of this, nor do I remember informative sex education at school.
I did try a normal syringe but found it extremely uncomfortable and awkward. It just wasn't working due to the pointy end of the syringe. I thought, “could there be a syringe like my dilators?” That’s when I found Mosie! I was so happy to see the size of Mosie was between size 1 and 2 of my dilators which gave me immense hope! After trialing with the dilators for about 2-3 months, I was ready to give Mosie a try!
With regards the dilators, I have tried the Mosie syringe for size (without the plunger) and can confirm it is the same as size one! It is effortless after using the dilators to size 2 at least.
I want others to know there is hope, and there is a way!
One important thing my psychotherapist asked me: “Do you want to fix the sex or have a baby? What is your priority?”. And that’s a real important question for any vaginismus sufferers - figure out what you want most! Children and then fix your ability to have sex? If yes, continue on the Mosie path and keep practicing with the dilators.
You have know idea how comforting it is to know you have such a product available.
I am going to hope and pray hard to make Mosie work for me!
Hopefully I can report back with happy news in the near future.
Many thanks!

Irene: Sincere thanks for sharing your thoughts on Mosie as well as your personal journey with Vaginismus. Until the Mosie Community started coming forward with their Vaginsmus stories we had no idea how many people suffered in silence. It is through their courageous stories that others have found comfort and inspiration. We’re elated that Mosie has provided hope to so many women facing this obstacle. As much as we hope that Mosie helps everyone conceive, we realize that our community is equally important. Feeling less alone in your conception journey is something we can all be thankful for! Wishing you and your husband success with Mosie, and thank you again for sharing your story. -Maureen + Marc
